Canon XA50 for Run & Gun Documentary Filmmaking

Could Canon XA50 be the best camera for filming run & gun, low budget documentaries in 2019-2020? I've been doing lots of research for that perfect camera (for me) to make documentaries with. Up until now, I've been eyeing the Canon C100 Mark II (but no 4K) or its big and more expensive brother C200 (with 4K). Recently, I happened to stumble upon Canon's new compact professional camcorder XA50. Rented it for a week to test it out. I took it with me when I visited my friends in NJ. And to my surprise, it felt so natural in my hands and is so easy to use. With a few negatives. (Btw, for the test footage, I'm not including audio because it's mostly us talking about non-camera related things that were personal - so just visual here.) :)

I LOVE:
Its small, compact size - very portable.
Shoots 4K up to 30 FPS.
All in one camera, the only thing you may need is a nice external mic hooking up to the XLR input, if you need pro audio. Otherwise, the onboard mic is pretty good for everyday filming non-pro events.
Built-in ND filter (1/4, 1/16. 1/64)
Built-in optical and electronic IS.
Dual-pixel auto-focus.
2 XLR audio inputs (pro audio)
Great in low light settings (which surprises me).
15x zoom at 4K and 30x zoom at 1080p.
Sweet bokeh / shallow depth-of-field (especially when you use the zoom): see 2:41.
On-boar audio is decent for the time when you don't use the XLR inputs.
Perfect for me as a run & gun documentary filmmaker - within budget.

WISH LIST:
Image quality is nice but not as cinematic as I would like. But since it's for run & gun documentaries, this wish is not as urgent. Though I still wish.
More physical buttons for often-used features, such as changing IRIS, GAIN, etc., would be perfect.

So far, the XA50 impresses me so much. I'm already in love with it having used it only a week. It's so convenient and easy to use and perfect for my low budget documentary needs. Plan to rent the C200 and C100 Mark II to test also. Will see how they all stack up.
