Thursday Talks | S2 E6 | Noiascape | The Concept of Any Media is its User

On the 19th of October, we had the pleasure of welcoming Noiascape to discuss the complex intersection of space, technology and media.

Led by Co-Founders James and Tom Teatum, they explored how user conversations have informed the way we design and operate space. While metrics like RIBA Stage 7 exist, they focus on technical performance and environmental sustainability, rather than community, social interaction, culture and the potential for new social rituals.

Through their talk, Noiascape outlined their culturally-informed approach of user engagement - providing a vital insight into peoples’ experiences, changing work patterns, and the development of communication technologies.
