Thursday Talks | S2 E7 | HTA Design | Sustainable Placemaking:

On the 26th of October, we were delighted to welcome HTA Design, architects and sustainability consultants on some of the UK’s highest profile housing projects.

Through the lens of three of their projects, Partner and Sustainable Futures Lead, Rory Bergin, addressed some of the challenges of achieving net zero targets. Rory explained the various tools and systems that HTA implements, spanning from low-rise suburban homes to high-rise high-density living. He also outlined their current research into volumetric offsite construction, and how they utilise this technology across several typologies.
