New Balance FuelCell TC vs. Asics Metaracer

While there might not be any races on the calendar, the shoes that would have defined 2020 as a banner year still remain. And today, I take a look at two carbon plated supershoes: the New Balance FuelCell TC and the Asics Metaracer. The FuelCell TC, while technically a training shoe, is going to be a wonderful choice for many non elite marathoners. And the Asics Metaracer is easily the most exciting thing to come out of Japan in years. But how do they stack up against each other? What are the differences?

TLDW: Fuelcell TC is cushioned at the expense of speed. Metaracer is speedy at the expense of cushion.
