On-the-Fly Homemade Tripod Dolly Design and Build

Описание к видео On-the-Fly Homemade Tripod Dolly Design and Build

In this episode I work out a design for, then make a tripod dolly (wheels for my video camera tripod) using materials and hardware I had on hand in my workshop. Includes on-the-fly problem solving and explanation of my thinking process as I build.

If while watching you wonder why I make a point of putting on hearing protection every time I use a power tool, there's a good reason. I've had a workshop all my adult life and done many repairs and projects, but I've been far from a full time tradesman. I was a university professor and the workshop was just a hobby so I never really used power tools for any extended period of time. That, and hearing protection wasn't really a big thing for power tool home gamers most of my life. Nevertheless, a couple years ago I was diagnosed with significant hearing loss and now have to wear hearing aids. So I want to protect the hearing I have left and encourage you to always wear hearing protection when using your power tools.
