5 Fun Things to Make using an Immersion Blender

Описание к видео 5 Fun Things to Make using an Immersion Blender

You can probably use just about any hand blender to do these ideas. I use the Redmond hand blender (you can find it on Amazon through my affiliate link here: https://geni.us/4jPP (Amazon) - Note the 10% off coupon). This blender is nice because it comes with a whisk and milk frother attachment.

Recipes/Ideas:
(Note, I recommend getting a glass Adam's Peanut Butter jar or a wide mouth Mason jar for using with an immersion blender.

1) Milkshake - Get vanilla ice cream and mix in a little cream or milk (more if you want to drink the milkshake through a straw). Add mix-ins like candy bars. I have done this with only ice cream and it works but puts a lot of strain on the blender.

2) Hootenanny / German Pancakes
2 tablespoons melted butter
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes

This is great to make in the Pyrex that you will bake it in. Saves a bit of cleanup!

3) Chocolate Milk - I have been doing this for several years now and prefer it over store bought. It does not have that corn syrup taste like what you buy in the store. Just add whatever milk you prefer (I like whole milk) and your chocolate milk powder of choice. The more powder you add the sweeter and chocolateier it will be!

4) Prep work / Crushing Things - You can crush hard candies like candy canes SOOOOO much easier than by doing this by hand. You can also crush egg shells to use for your garden or making your own toothpaste. The great thing about this is you can use a glass container that won't get obliterated when grinding egg shells. I did this with my Blendtec blender and ruined my plastic jar. Sad times.

5) Minced garlic or other things you can mince - I like mincing garlic for cooking. Goes great in mashed potatoes!
