OOTY TO COIMBATORE

This is my #TNSTC bus journey from Ooty to Coimbatore via the Coonoor Ghat also known as Kallar Ghat. 14 Hairpin bends. Route: Ooty - Coonoor - Burliar - Mettupalayam - Coimbatore. Came to close to an accident twice on the route. Careless driving.

We caught the bus at around 9 am from Ooty bus stand and reached Coimbatore around 1: 30 pm. The route is very scenic and mesmerizing with the beautiful view and also get to see the valley below. Zig Zag roads and sharp hairpin bends make it a very adventurous & risky trip. The drivers are really skilled to handle these roads as cars are driven by crazy people trying to overtake even on corners.
