Geht's denn ? Daten und Gedanken zur Urbanen Verkehrswende | Fridays for Future

Heute dürfen wir in der Ringvorlesung zur Klimakrise die Ökologin und Landschaftsplanerin Philine Gaffron begrüßen. Ganz im Sinne unseres Mottos „System Change, Not Climate Change“ wird sie heute zum Thema Verkehrswende referieren und unseren Themenblock „Stadtplanung“ damit abschließen. Eine besonders wichtige Rolle wird in ihrem Vortrag auch das Thema gesellschaftlicher Allianzen und Narrativen für die Verkehrswende spielen.
Ihre Expertise bringt Philine Gaffron aus vielen verschiedenen Arbeitsbereichen mit. Sie war nicht nur Mitglied in der Enquetekomission „Klimaschutzplan für das Land Bremen“, sondern ist seit 2021 im Klimabeirat des Hamburger Senats.
Bis 2023 hat Philine Gaffron an der TU Hamburg zu Umweltgerechtigkeit, Emissionsmodellierung, Raumentwicklung und nachhaltigem Güterverkehr geforscht und gelehrt. Nun ist sie als Projektleiterin für städtische Mobilität bei Agora Verkehrswende tätig.

Today we are delighted to welcome ecologist and landscape planner Philine Gaffron to our lecture series on the climate crisis. Perfectly aligning with our title ‘System change, Not Climate Change’, her lecture will be on the topic of the mobility transition, thus concluding our thematic block on ‘urban planning’. Particular focus will be placed on the topic of social alliances and narratives for the transport transition.
Philine Gaffron gathered her expertise from many different areas of work. She was not only a member of the ‘Climate Protection Plan for the State of Bremen’ committee of enquiry, but has also been a member of the Hamburg Senate's Climate Council since 2021.
Until 2023, Philine Gaffron researched and taught environmental justice, emissions modelling, spatial development and sustainable freight transport at TU Hamburg. She now works as a project manager for urban mobility at Agora Verkehrswende.
