•It is a thanksgiving hymn which you can sing on thanksgiving masses and during offertory. In short I would translate this to: give thanks to the Lord alone, His merciful heart has no end. He is our saviour who, with His own power, fights against our enemies, remembers us in our poverty and gives us food to eat; give thanks.
