An Interview with Cartoonist and Author Patrick McDonnell

On the afternoon of Thursday, November 7th at 3pm EST we have the pleasure of having cartoonist and author Patrick McDonnell join us for a discussion about some of his recent projects, including Breaking the Chain: The Guard Dog Story and The Super Hero's Journey.

Artworks from The Super Hero's Journey will also be on display at the Arts Council of Princeton beginning November 9 through December 7, with an artist talk and book signing being held November 30th at 4pm.

Patrick McDonnell is the creator of the animal-friendly comic strip MUTTS, which has received numerous awards internationally, both for comic strip excellence and for its themes of animal protection. Charles Schulz called it “one of the best comics strips of all time.” Prior to creating MUTTS, Patrick was a freelance magazine illustrator for multiple publications, including the Russell Baker “Observer” column for The New York Times Sunday Magazine.
