Last Steam over Hemerdon - 61306 Mayflower Faultless with the Golden Hind to Plymouth - 2024

Just 10 days after the last railtour to Plymouth, 61306 Mayflower made a short trip to Plymouth for the day, hauling the Golden Hind for Saphos Trains. Starting in Worcester, the Golden Hind mostly to time all day, incurring problems attacking the West Country Banks, thanks to a helping hand from the Class 47 on the rear. Seen attacking 2 difficult gradients, at Hemerdon, you could tell how hard the locomotive was working. The train was accelerating well before the summit. In chronological order, shots were taken at:
