Botswana Horseback Safari- Mashatu Game Reserve 2021 with Horizon Horseback

In April of 2021 we took the most magical trip, embarking on Horizon Horseback's Tuli Safari in the Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana.
This video is mostly the GoPro footage, but also includes a bit of cell phone video, photos from our game drives and moments when we didn't have the GoPro, to try to show a more well rounded version of our experience or include details you can't see as well with the fish eye lens of the GoPro. We are all incredibly grateful for all of those at Horizon Horseback for making this experience the trip of a lifetime, we all can't wait to go back one day!!

The MOST fantastic horses! Luna is the grey that I'm filming from for most of the video, Hidalgo the paint, Taylor the Bay, and Mopani the chestnut. Tsaone our lead guide is on the brave Coffee and Lindy in the back on Monate.

Not included in the video:
Tsaone saying "lets kick some dust!" before we would start a canter, I was never fast enough with my video skills but it's one of my favorite memories!
Our Leopard encounter, these animals are incredibly well camouflaged and so hard to see on a video.
Lots of incredible knowledge from our guides, and Tsaone putting up with our endless questions and shenanigans.
Video of/from our cycling buddies, while the 4 of us were on a horseback safari our new friends were on a cycling safari, they would cycle along mostly the same routes and we would meet in camp every night.
SO many more silly moments.
All of our incredible meals! We got to try local meats and were fed like royalty while we were there.
