Ember mugs pin stuck and not charging fixed.

We have had this cup for over a year now and it suddenly stopped charging. We weren't sure if it was the battery in the cup or the charger.

After finding that the pins spring had failed on the outside (could be right or left side depending on how you position it) I tested and found it was getting a current of over 19V.

I did take it apart and stopped when I saw the circuit board was glued on. I don't have any pins to replace the bad one so I put it back together and decided to try and build the solder up a bit so the cup would make positive contact and test it that way.

After doing a sloppy solder build up I tested and found it would charge. I have cleaned the solder up and left it at a hight that the cup does not tilt yet still makes positive contact and charges.

This is a temporary solution. I will order a pin and when it comes in I will replace the defective pin on the circuit board.
