ATI HPSS32 (Entergy Indian Point Energy Center) (Full Alert & Voice)

I've been wanting to head up here for quite some time so I'm glad I did before the other reactor at the plant shuts down in April. This ATI is located on a boat launch and was one of the new installs done when the original system of P-15s was taken down in 2008. This is one of the few units in the system that are bi-directional which uses TH400 speakers (you can technically say a 16R head if you want) to output 3200W of power. I wasnt too impressed with the loudness of this unit, (Georgia Tech's independent study rates the normal HPSS32s at 115dB, these at 117). Voice is presented in both English and Spanish before and after the test. Before this unit starts up you can hear unit 123 to the north, another one of the bi-directional units, however powered by solar only, sound off from about a mile away. The New York area around here sure is beautiful and this sure is a test for me to remember. Enjoy!
