✨💫How to Ombre with high Pigment Acrylic Powders💫✨

In today's video we are going to be finishing off Roxy’s set we have been working on a blue ocean-inspired set and today were are going to finish that off.

So we will be taking a look at ombre’s today I’m going to be doing a nice colored acrylic ombre on Roxy’s thumb and on her little finger as well and we are using highly pigmented acrylic powders today which can be a little bit tricky to ombre but here is how!

I'll start by fitting my form, now Roxy has kinda flat free-edges on some of her fingers so we will be using the sticky tab across the wings of the form trick and also take off the length of the form as we won’t need it we are not working on extreme length nails today.

So with my form on Ill prime, the nail with Glitterama Primer, and then ill apply a clear layer using the Glitterama Crystal Clear ill give that a few seconds to dry, and then its time to start working on our Ombre and for that, I’m going to use Alice Blue and BubbleGum two gorgeous blues from Glitterama.

I'll start with the Bubblegum placing it at the tip nice and thin then ill use the Alice Blue and pop that at the cuticle and bring that down over the bubblegum keeping my beads quite wet so I have more control of the color, when you are happy with your blend to get ready to pinch the nail and then you can cap in the clear acrylic.

Now its time to file these nails in to shape same as always side walls first then we will file the cuticle area then the free edge and finally, we marry in all together and contour the top surface, then give that a buff

Now you can see here on the thumb I have a little patchy bit so what I’m going to do to disguise that is I’m going to use some chrome powder so first off ill topcoat with a no wipe top coat then ill take dazzling mermaid from NailGaga and burnish that into my Ombre then ill topcoat one more time to seal in that chrome powder and then give it a little bit of cuticle oil to finish it off.
