Hiking the Goat Rock Trail at Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas

Enjoyed a nice hike along the Goat Rock Trail at Hot Springs National Park. I especially liked reading about the history of the Novaculite Rock.

Love that all throughout this park there are signs posted to give you some insight and history about the area. Do like to stop and read about the different features on a trail?

This trail is 2.4 Miles (out & back). It's rated as moderate .. if you go back the same way you hike. I accessed it from the Gulpha Gorge Trail which made it easier.

There is a lookout with stunning views of Indian Mountain. I got caught in rain along this hike 😅 thankfully there was a shelter near the trailhead to hide out under.
