TALLEST WATERFALL IN MID AMERICA! Hemmed-In-Falls in Arkansas

The tallest waterfall in mid-America (between the Rockies and Appalachians) is located in Compton, AR. Great hike on the Hemmed-In-Hollow Trail.

This trail is 5 miles round trip. The hike down to the falls is 2.5 miles and it is a steep climb back up so best to start this hike in the morning. This is like climbing the stairs at the Empire State Building apparently. Pack a lunch to eat once you reach the falls. Plan for at least 4 hours to complete.

To be honest, I expected more water at the falls but I realized that its the "tallest" at 209 feet but not necessarily the widest lol Overall, this was a nice hike and great workout.
