Описание к видео Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome | The Cause | The Treatment

Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome is classified as a Migraine Disorder. It usually affects children at the ages of 3-7 years.
It is characterized by severe vomiting followed by complete symptom-free periods.
A sufferer may vomit at least 4 times per hour, and this may last for 1hour or up to 10 days.
Although this is a migraine disorder, headache pain is usually absent during attacks. It is noted however that those with Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome have a higher chance to develop headaches or migraines in their adulthood.
