There were spectacular levels of strength on display when it came to the women's shot put final at Munich 2022.

12 athletes took to the circle to try and claim victory at the European Athletics Championships, but only one would be triumphant.

After 76 throws in total from the contest, it was Jessica Schilder of the Netherlands who won gold with a big personal best throw of 20.24m. The distance set a European Lead.
