On our current trajectory, driven by unsustainable economic growth and assailed by health and environmental crises, our health and that of the planet continue to worsen and inequalities widen.

There is another road we can take, which leads to healthier, more sustainable and more equitable societies and economies. This road is based on the principles of the Economy of Wellbeing, which provides a vision for change: an economy and society that benefit people and the planet, and helps people meet their fundamental needs. The Economy of Wellbeing offers potential to foster a transition towards healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable societies with improved health equity.
