Kathavumalai hill sivan temple is located in arasankodai and pachalur hill village at thandikudi, kodaikanal, dindigul district. Its 5600 feet from sea level. From thandikudi you have trek 6 kms to arrived the kathavumalai sivan temple. Its little hard to trek in the monsoon, lot of leeches suck your blood without pain, we faced the risk and avoid trek in the pachalur trail. because of so much of elephant spotting. thandikudi route is easy and safe for trekking, you have to trek 2 hours to reach the temple.

We have heard about the famous tourist spots in Kodaikanal. There are many hidden beauty spots in the hills that are not known to the outside world. Among them, the nearby Door Hill Shiva Temple attracts the visitors as a beautiful site. Deep Vision is located in a cave in a door-like area between several scenes. Tourists who see this Shiva temple in person are in awe of its character. The people say that this temple was formed as a temple 1300 years ago and worships have been going on for thousands of years and now this temple is gaining popularity little by little.
