Northumberland Brompton Bikepacking - Coast and Castles. Wild camping and visiting a secret beach

Описание к видео Northumberland Brompton Bikepacking - Coast and Castles. Wild camping and visiting a secret beach

This adventure on my Brompton along the coast of Northumberland allowed me to see some of my favourite things: castles, the ocean, and open skies.

In this video, I try wild camping for the first time and visit an unspoiled and rarely visited beach.

But the weather eventually creeps up on me. Let’s say that if there’s one thing I should take away from this trip, I should always put the guylines on my tent!

This is the second part of my tour through Northumberland. Over three days and two nights, I aim to view at least four medieval castles.

I cycled over 140km from the outskirts of Newcastle to Berwick-Upon-Tweed, making this the longest trip I have made on my Brompton.

The weather was wild on the last day, and I must admit I struggled against the relentless northerly headwind.

To make matters worse, a bad night's sleep left me feeling grumpy and shattered! But I just had to keep going to catch my train back home. I booked my ticket in advance, so I had to catch a specific train.

I will be making more films on my upcoming Brompton adventures. I am looking for ideas for new places to go and explore on my Brompton. Please send me any ideas and subscribe to my channel if you’d like to follow my next trip.
