Pottery Tutorial- Pinholes?! (Part 2)

Welcome back to Pottery Plus (formerly known as Pottery People)! In this video we will revisit our most popular topic to date: PINHOLES! We have solved the mystery about why Kara had pinholes in a whole kiln full of pots and we will also talk briefly about what you can do if your pots come out with pinholes.

NOTE As one of our fabulous viewers pointed out in the comments section of the first video about pinholing, sometimes they are too severe to really do anything about and can be dangerous because when they are large the edges can be sharp and can release small chips of glaze into your pot or whatever may be in the pot (I.E. food or drink). If you have very severe pinholes the best plan is to re-fire, which is a risk but works sometimes, or just discard the piece/es.
