TCRC - Arrendene Bank Station Opening & Gala Preview Day 21/06/2024

Due to a shortage of staff on Wednesday 19th June 2024 the Arrendene Bank Station opening event had to take place on the Diesel Gala Preview Day changing what should of been a blue timetabled diesel only day to a yellow timetable steam and diesel.

The change made things somewhat more interesting seeing resident steam and diesel locomotives in operation alongside two visiting locomotives that are apart of the upcoming gala line up, The two visitors allocated to run on gala preview day was Class 37/9s 37901 "Mirrlees Pioneer" and 37905 "Vulcan Enterprise" however sadly 37905 failed prior to the event and had to be replaced with Class 47 47712 "Lady Diana Spencer".

Class 27 and Class 33 shuttles were in operation between Lockets Memorial and Lillian Bridge on the O Gauge Garden Railway being hauled by resident locos D5389 and D6508 "Eastleigh".
