Parowan Gap Sept 2024

This is a quick detour off I-15 in Parowan Utah. The whole trip took us about 1/2 hour. The gap is about 15 minutes off the freeway. We probably could have spent a little more time and found more petroglyphs, but it's hot in southern Utah in September! One nice thing about this detour is you can get off the freeway in one spot and make a loop further along the freeway so you don't really lose much time. We never were sure if what we saw at the dinosaur tracks was really was fossilized tracks or just rocks. For the dinosaur tracks walk, be sure to wear decent shoes since it's gravel, dirt and loose rocks. The Petroglyphs area was flat and paved so any shoes are fine.
