Описание к видео Exploring the Parowan Gap - Ancient Petroglyphs and Dinosaurs

About 10 miles outside the town of Parowan, Utah lies the Parowan Gap, an ancient pathway through the Red Hills that people have been traveling through for centuries. As ancient peoples such as the Fremont Culture, and later the Southern Paiute, traveled through the Parowan Gap to trade or hunt, they left their mark on the rocks in the form of petroglyphs.

Now there are thousands of petroglyphs in the narrow canyon, with numerous theories as to their meaning. As you walk through the Parowan Gap, you are completed surrounded by rock art from centuries ago.

Just outside of the Parowan Gap there is evidence of even older travelers through the area, as there is a site with several hadrosaur footprints, dating back 65-75 million years.

In this video we visit the town of Parowan, the Parowan Gap, and the dinosaur track site.
