Kilauea Volcano Eruption Update; Tall Lavafall Created, Expanding Lava Field

Due to molten rock cascading down a deep cliff into a volcanic pit, a 164 foot tall lavafall (a waterfall but instead with lava) was generated. This lavafall has now been ongoing for more than 12 hours now, representing the most spectacular portion of Kilauea's ongoing volcanic eruption. This video will discuss what has changed at Kilauea's during the last 24 hours, mention the ages of lava flows in Napau Crater, and discuss what might happen next based on the perspective of a geologist.
