Primary Engine Balance - Explained

What is primary balance? Primary engine balancing is balancing the forces that occur once every rotation of the crankshaft. These forces come from reciprocating mass, primarily the pistons moving up and down. It is important to have the primary forces balanced in order to have an engine that does not vibrate.
