Transylvania100k 2023 filmed with Insta360 Go2

We traveled to Romania in May 2023 to participate in the Transylvania 100k. We flew to OTP, rented a car and drove up to Bran. The Transylvania100 is a 103km (more or less...) long mountain ultra marathon with approximately 6500m pos. elevation. Start and finish is on the castle grounds of Dracula's castle in Bran, located about 150km north of Bucharest. The race itself is a round trip through the "Parcul Natural Bucegi" which is the home of - next to the Count D. himself - bears and wolves. Eventhough they don't want anything to do with sweaty runners, it's recommended to sing, rattle some metal, blow your whistle, while on the twisted paths in the transylvanian forests. It was a fantastic event, not without some pretty hairy moments due to quite a bit of snow above 2000m. We finished in just over 27 hours which secured me a place in the middle of the pack. Janet was in the top rankings of her ladies age group - kudos, Janet!
