Dholavira is an archaeological site at which, ruins of an ancient lost city belonging to Harappan/Indus Valley Civilization were found. It is located at the Khadir island in the Kutch region of Gujarat. It was officially discovered by Jagat Pati Joshi of the Archaeological Survey of India(ASI) in 1968. It is one of the largest and most prominent archaeological site in India belonging to the civilization. This site has also been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In this video, I visit and explore the 5000yrs old city of Dholavira belonging to Harappan Civilization also known as Indus Valley Civilization or Sindhu Sarasvati Civilization. From learning about the civilization, first time, in history textbooks to finally visiting the actual site.
