The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has asked government to urgently find solutions to the escalating conflict in Tororo District between the Iteso and the Jopadhola ethnic communities. On Wednesday, police blocked councillors from Tororo County largely of the Iteso community from attending a district council meeting over claims that they were to disrupt the proceedings if their counterparts the Jopadhola from West Budama were to attend it.
