RUMINATIONS: It is a CRIME that I haven’t reviewed more issues of US-1. Unlike Kamandi, which is just frustrating stupidity, US-1 is FUN stupidity. It doesn’t aspire to anything great – it just tries to have a good time with a completely goofy and silly premise. It has a hero with a metal plate in his head, a supervillain dominatrix with a mind-control whip, and a super-powered truck that would eventually go up into space. And sometimes a trucker going through space and fighting over-the-top villains is really all you want out of comics.
