The Kenya Pipeline Company has embarked on a marketing spree to onboard oil marketers to utilize the newly refurbished Kisumu oil jetty, for the movement of fuel products into the Great Lakes countries. Kenya has already shipped an estimated 30 million litres of fuel to Uganda through the jetty this year, with the Ministry of Energy initiating plans to fully clinch the prospects presented by the jetty and reduce the use of oil tankers.
