Ingredients:

250 gms Chana Dal, soaked in water for 2 hours
1 Raw Mango, grated
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/4th tsp Turmeric Powder
2 - 3 Green Chillies
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
1 tsp Sugar
Salt to taste
2 tsp Oil

साहित्य:

२५० gms चणा डाळ, २ तास पाण्यात भिजवून ठेवणे
१ कैरी, किसून
१ tsp मोहरी
१/४ tsp हळद
२ ते ३ हिरव्या मिरच्या
काढीपत्ता
कोथिंबीर
१ tsp साखर
मीठ
२ tsp तेल
Method:

In a mixer, add the soaked chana dal, green chillies and curry leaves. Grind everything to a coarse paste. Add little water if required.
Transfer the chana dal paste into a bowl.
Add grated raw mango, coriander leaves, salt & sugar to the chana dal paste. Mix everything well.
For tempering, heat some oil. Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds, curry leaves & turmeric powder.
Add the tempering to the chana dal mixture and mix everything well.
Ambe Dal is ready to serve! You can enjoy this side dish with chapati, bhakri or just by itself!
