Inspired To Tackle Exposure Therapy by Dr Christian (C4) - Agoraphobia & Panic Disorder

Having watched House of Hypochondriacs on C4 last night, there was a part during the show where Dr Christian went for a walk with a housebound sufferer to help her realise that she was in no real danger. He tried to make her see that the symptoms she experienced during this exercise were normal.

Watching that take place inspired me to get out there myself today. I've spent a good few weeks only leaving the house when I've had to, and only then, it's been in the car. The only steps I've taken outside this house recently are the few steps that lead me to my car.

Small steps.

I hope someone out there finds the courage to take those steps today too. It'd be great to see some others try this and maybe add a vlog to show their experiences too.
