For thousands of years, Africa – the mother of the first civilisations and cultures on Earth – has been taking inspiration from the harmonies of audible and inaudible worlds. In fact, musicians of the African melos downright demand harmonies. Instruments, such as the African kora harp and the hang – an instrument consisting of a metal barrel or vessel which was once played by African slaves – are designed to elicit a fullness of harmony, spirit, and sound images. Together with the sansa, also known as the kalimba, a harp with metal tines, the beneficent sounds of these instruments caress our soul and body. African melodies are proof that people everywhere, and throughout history, have been persistent and eternal seekers of the harmonies and euphonies that make us peaceful, happy, and that open up our consciousness and awareness. When the udu aliquot drum joins the sonic caresses of the harp, hang and sansa, the musicians and listeners step out of their limited material world and set off into the realms beyond. Into realms that only the levels of the spirit or soul can reach. This is how we, the creators of music – mediums and therapists – broaden our own existential expanses. With our meta-sensorial perceptions, or radars, we delve into invisible worlds and become one with the inaudible worlds of the Universe, worlds which we can indeed perceive with our meta-senses, at the levels of our wide open consciousness! We connect to the symphony of frequencies that fills and fulfils both the Cosmos and our earthly givens. To listen to these mellifluous African harmonies and rhythms is to listen to the primordial harmonies of the Source of life and the pulsing of Mother Earth. Both blend together to make an indivisible and beneficent whole, which harmonises, calms, heals us, expands our consciousness, inspires us, etc.

New relaxing and harmonising music, perfect for meditation, was released on this Vedun Ensemble Youtube channel. It was recorded in the Cekin Mansion in Ljubljana, in January 2020, at precisely the time when coronavirus had started spreading across the globe. Channelled (spontaneously played and sung) sound images from this new series of audio-video recordings were put online. In all these sound images, unusual and rare old instruments enhance the ancient euphonies of various cultures and melos: Slovenia, Africa, India, Persia, ancient Slavs, Siberians, Hawaiians, Native Americans, etc. Moreover, we will soon be adding soothing new-age music accompanied by crystal musical instruments. All videos (including those already available online) come with a powerful sound-energy charge, which will fill, harmonise, and inspire you while you listen. We wish you pleasant moments and fulfilled meditations during your listening.
