Standard Arrival Route (STAR) Explained - [How to read a Standard Arrival Chart Like a PRO].

Описание к видео Standard Arrival Route (STAR) Explained - [How to read a Standard Arrival Chart Like a PRO].

This is an IFR training Video about the Standard Arrival Route.

The IFR Aeroplanes use the STARs to leave the en-route phase and approach the destination Airport.

The Standard Arrival Route is the phase of flight that connects the airway to the approach procedure.

A STAR has a name that identifies it, waypoints along the route and the last point of the procedure (in this case TFN) arrives close to the destination Airport.

Let’s talk about the Standard Arrival Route explained in this video…

An Aeroplane that is required to fly the TERTO 1L has to fly from TERTO to LZR, then from LZR to LARYS and from LARYS to TFN.

From TFN, which is the last point of the START, the Pilot, needs to follow another procedure, called approach, that will allow him to fly from TFN to the touchdown.
