Duke's Centennial Kickoff Event | Full Event

Echoing the date of Duke University’s founding in 1924, Duke kicked off more than a year of centennial events on January 9th – 1.9.24.

The celebration of this centennial brings about a historic opportunity to recognize Duke’s extraordinary past, highlight the impact of the present and look toward the potential of Duke’s future.

Hosted by Duke Alum Ken Jeong and Lisa Borders, the event featured performance from several Duke student groups as well as inspirational moments from students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Special remarks were delivered by President Vince Prince and Coach K.
