Stork Test for Iliosacral Dysfunction

Описание к видео Stork Test for Iliosacral Dysfunction

The Stork test (also known as the Gillet test) is a clinical test used to assess the movement (intrapelvic motion) of the sacroiliac joint between the innominate bone and sacrum. It can be useful in evaluating suspected sacroiliac joint pathology / dysfunction. The PSIS on the tested side should move in an inferior direction as the patient raises the ipsilateral side thigh to parallel to the floor. Lack of inferior movement of the PSIS in relation to the thumb of the opposite hand which is on the sacrum at the level of S2 is an indication of ipsilateral sacroiliac dysfunction. #osteopathy #chiropractic #physiotherapy #sportstherapy #pelviccorrection
