Thru Hulls! - Rebuilding Schooner Tijgerhaai EP2

In this episode, we make some drains in the floor of the wheelhouse, in case rainwater comes in when the windows are removed and for future emergency purposes. For this we need to create thru hulls, which means cutting some holes in the steel hull. After that, we start removing the windows.

Schooner Tijgerhaai (Tigershark) started life in 1943 as a canadian built tugboat and she has been in my family for almost 50 years. Since she came back from a 4 year trip around the world in 1994, the ship has been mostly idle... That changes NOW. Recently, I quit my job as a marine engineer in order to revive, refit, rebuilt this beautiful ship together with my dad, to get her up to date and ready for new adventures.
