@Samwel732 Aba-Luhya, a Bantu speaking people are mostly found in Western Kenya. This video shows how burial is done for an elderly man in a section of Bu-luhya. Four poles are erected in the corners of the grave pit before filling with soil. People sing and dance. Flowers are held by the immediate family members before eventually being laid on the grave. On the following day after burial, the grave is covered with banana leaves just incase it rains since any damage to the grave will trigger more rain with hailstones that will discriminately devastate the entire territory prompting a council of elders to sit and charge a fine on the bereaved family. This practice is done if the deceased had a twin brother or sister or had twins among his or her children. A bull must be slaughtered if the deceased was an elderly man. Prior to the burial day, a bonfire is lit the whole night and people especially men sit around it keeping vigil. [Isukuti (traditional drum) dance prevail the entire night. Interestingly, the drum beat sounds like the Zulu beat @   • Zulu Dance Explosion: A Powerhouse of...  . After the burial, Aba-kooko (or local women married elsewhere) must stay in the compound for three days before they can go to their homes. Concerning attire, women are arrayed in white as men put on any colour although white and black is a trend in contemporary times.
