NSFAS applications to open on Friday: Sihle Lonzi, Asive Dlanjwa

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme will open funding applications for the 2025 academic year on Friday.

Higher Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Nkabane, has announced that Matric learners can start applying for NSFAS loans or bursaries.

She says in the last few years, the student population has grown, along with demand for financial assistance.

Nkabane says the NSFAS application system has gone through several changes and enhancements, to ensure a seamless experience for applicants.
