Chop and drop is a rewarding way to manage a food forest. In todays video I'm solving a problem, no light for my apricot tree, by harvesting mulch from a tagasaste tree which has been planted just for this purpose. The support tree is a nitrogen fixer so not only do we get mulch when chopping and dropping this tree we also get nitrogen released to the soil to fertilise the system. It's a win!!
