女一人歩き。ヒンドゥー教の神話を物語るお祭りのインド屋台でグルメ飯を食べる。祇園祭に似た山車が町を練り歩いた後、神聖への供物になったカレーのようなご馳走が無料で施される。インド宗教は日本の宗教に通ずる所が多く、人々にインドと日本の神話への探訪を誘う。I visit the Hare Krishna Festival of India in Vancouver! I eat some street food (pakora and chutney) and prasad of mild curry and rice. There is Indian dance, music and markets. Hindu religion, mythology, beliefs and culture have ancient ties to Japan, and the Jagannath Ratha Yatra festival originating in Puri has connections with the Gion Matsuri in Kyoto -- an interesting fact for my viewers with connections to Japan!
