'Making Things Up' & 'Running Out on a Roomate'

First, the plaintiff says she was hired by the defendant to provide makeup services for her vow renewal. The defendant canceled two weeks before the event because her godsister gifted her with makeup services. The defendant broke the contract, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant says the plaintiff was in over her head and even wanted her to buy some of the makeup.


Then, the plaintiff says he and the defendant rented a room together, but they didn’t get along and the guy falsely accused him of being a racist and moved out. He’s suing him for his share of the rent. The defendant says the plaintiff doesn’t understand where he’s coming from, and he denies owing him any money. He’s countersuing for loss of security deposit and inconvenience.
