Getting the turtle tank off the basement floor and onto a platform is a huge improvement. Shortly after I moved into the house I was forced to quickly set things up on the floor, and i'm happy to say this is the beginning of great things!

It's important to note, the wooden platform is extremely overbuilt by many factors of magnitude, but the shape turned out really well.

If you have any questions about this build, let me know! I won't bother posting a lumber list, because you don't need to use nearly as much lumber as I did. Also, no styrofoam is needed, as the platform was shimmed level, and the plastic body of the 300 gallon rubbermaid stock tank will absorb the rest - much more forgiving than glass and silicone!
