Brock Purdy threw two interceptions. Jordan Mason fumbled in the red zone. The 49ers missed 12 tackles and didn’t make adjustments on that side of the ball. And San Francisco is allergic to finishing in the red zone, which is their biggest offensive issue right now.

Through 5 weeks, the 49ers are 2 in the NFL in red-zone trips (22), just trailing the Commanders (23).

San Francisco is really missing the versatility of Christian McCaffrey as a red zone running and receiving threat.
