I Goonies (The Goonies) è un film d'avventura del 1985 con la Regia di Richard Donner. Steven Spielberg ideò la sceneggiatura di Chris Columbus e produsse.

Il film narra della storia di un gruppo di quattro ragazzi, cresciuti in un quartiere di Astoria in Oregon, chiamato "Goon Docks" e dal nome del loro quartiere, i ragazzi si fanno chiamare col nome di 'Goonies'. Nello dialetto americano, goony significa “sfigato” per questo Mikey ripete spesso che lui e i suoi amici sono “dei poveri Goonies”.

La Produzione fu di Spielberg e la Warner Bros lo distribui. Il film uscì negli Stati Uniti il 7 giugno 1985 . In Italia invece uscì pochi giorni prima del Natale 1985 e fu distribuito dalla PIC Produzione Intercontinentale Cinema, ha avuto un buon incasso di circa 125 milioni di dollari in tutto il mondo a fronte di un budget di 19 milioni di dollari. Questo film è di culto per le generazioni degli anni ottanta, che portano nei loro bei ricordi le avventure magiche e divertenti dei Goonies.

The Goonies (The Goonies) is a 1985 adventure film directed by Richard Donner. Steven Spielberg coined Chris Columbus' screenplay and produced.

The film tells the story of a group of four boys, who grew up in a neighborhood of Astoria in Oregon, called "Goon Docks" and from the name of their neighborhood, the boys call themselves with the name of 'Goonies'. In the American dialect, goony means "loser" so Mikey often repeats that he and his friends are "poor Goonies".

Production was by Spielberg and Warner Bros distributed it. The film was released in the United States on June 7, 1985. In Italy, however, it came out a few days before Christmas 1985 and was distributed by PIC Production Intercontinental Cinema, it had a good collection of about 125 million dollars worldwide against a budget of 19 million dollars. This film is a cult film for generations of the eighties, who carry the magical and fun adventures of the Goonies in their fond memories.
