Mediterranean Jazz Ensemble - Morenika (Live at Berklee Valencia)

The Mediterranean Jazz Ensemble, led by Perico Sambeat, performed “Morenika” at L’Umbracle (Ciutat de Les Arts i les Ciències) as part of the 2021 Musaico Festival.

“Morenika,” a Sephardic traditional song from the 15th century, is a testament to the rich Jewish culture that existed in Spain during this time. This version is based on an arrangement of Avishai Cohen.
