Hematoma is collection of blood so it's a small blood clot in the perianal region around the anus. That's called perianal hematoma. These also called thrombossed hemorrhoid, external hemorrhoid. If it is small, it is nothing to worry about. Most of them look quite painful but very small. Hematoma can happen when people are sitting and traveling for long periods or they have very hard stools where they adopt a lot of pressure or even when they have very loose motions with pressure when it is coming out. More blood clots can happen around the anal canal. They are called as hematomas, they are external thrombosed piles. If they are very small just you can leave it alone. Will give some ointments and some painkillers. It will resolve after some time. But if their big external hemorrhoids are present and then in that blood clot has happened then it has to be operated and laser treatment then also another treatments which are available. You can do it in the morning and by evening they are fine. Even it can be done under local anesthesia. But when there is a perianal hematoma we have to completely examine from inside also what is happening to the internal piles. Are there any other associated diseases inside that also has to be tackled?
